Welcome to Ona Little League’s website. Its hard to believe, but 2012 is already here and the season is just a few months away. Signups will be held at Ona Elementary February 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th from 6pm till 8pm. Tryouts will be held in March. Although we will be advertising this as much as possible, please check back at this website and go ahead and “LIKE” the Ona Little League Facebook page to stay up to date on league information.

If you want to get a jump on sign-ups, you can go ahead and print the forms below and have them ready.
1. Player Registration Form
2. Medical Release Form
3. Parental Code of Conduct Form

These are all standard forms provided by Little League Baseball. We have not asked for completion of the Parental Form in the past, but I believe it is as important as the other forms and have decided to add it this year. If you are curious about league age, please review the Age Chart or the calculator.

In addition to these forms, you will need the following:
1. Registration fee (to be determined).
2. Proof-of-age Document. Need an Original birth certificate, we will make a copy and return it.
3. Proof of Residency Documentation. 3 of the following are needed:
• Driver’s License
• Voter’s Registration
• School Records
• Federal/State Records
• Utility Bills
• Loan Documents
• Medical Records
• Vehicle Records
• Employment Records

If you are interested in coaching, whether it be head coach, assistant coach, or helping in practices, you will need to submit a completed Volunteer Application to me. Even if you coached last year, you need to submit an application each year. I will compile and review with the Board for approval. Coaching is a great experience, but it is much more enjoyable if you have good help…so the more help, the more everyone benefits, especially the kids.

We will start coaches meetings in early February to start preparations, so don’t wait to complete the application…go ahead and complete it and contact me at the number below if you are interested.

In addition to coaching, there are many ways that the league needs your help. Other than the dreaded work in the concession stand during the season, there is a lot of work that needs to be completed prior to the season starting. From concession stand renovation to field repair, we have jobs for anyone and any skill level.

We will have a few work days before the season starts, but again, there is no need wait for the invitation. If you have the time and ability to help, give me a call and we can identify something you can help with when its convenient for you. You will need to fill out the volunteer form.

Sponsors / Donations

Sponsors – We will always be looking for team and sign sponsors. We will be moving to 4’ x 4’ sponsor signs this year and be placing them on all of the fields (based on where the sponsor wants it or who secures the donation). The new pricing for the signs will be posted soon.

Capitol Projects – In addition to normal sponsors and fundraising, we are trying to make a few improvements to the facility prior to the season. We have a complete list of potential projects from new fencing, a new scoreboard, PA Systems to new batting cage nets. These projects take money and/or materials. If you are able to donate financially, can help secure pricing, or may have access to materials that are needed, please contact me at the number below and we can work together to find a way to utilize your resources.
